RE: Pressure relief valve
I asked about the pressure relief valve on a gas water heater yesterday. thanks to everyone for your answers.
My question is: If there is a leak in the gas water heater, and I want to minimize the damage, this is what I am going to do to prevent any flood damage:
1. shut off the incoming water to the water heater;
2. Tun on the hot water faucets in the house to let water come out quickly.
Do I have to do anything with the pressure relief valve? Do I leave it the way it was?
Thanks for your feedback.
