get me through this trouble !

having totally different opinions from LG on how to get along with people. He always let me lose face in front of people, no matter whoever they are, my friends or his friends. Just find that since the marriage, we fought against each other a lot because of this issue, the trouble is still there after 12 years' marriage.

Now I want to let him free, let him do whatever he likes in the front of people (I mean when we have parties, or with other people together), because it is so hard to change him, and also hurt me. Just endure this, and do whatever I like, career-oriented, and pay more attention to my son, is my idea OK?
