Prejudices or racist are everywhere. But there're always good people far more than bad people. I think confidence and self image is very important. If we're acting like low educationed and uncivilized how we can get respect from other people. Because many people don't have the opportunities to know you, they just assume the chinese are such and such people, especially many of them only depend on old histofy of chinese and China. It's morden century now. The whole world is changing. Many chinese immigration come to oversea with good education, good value and good opinion. We, each one of us, will be representative our culture. We can't change all the racist and all the prejudices, but we can build up good image of chinese by ourselves. I do believe that good people eventually get good life. If your neighour or somebody mean to you, you just be yourself, be a honest and good person with a good and healthy life style, bring in your beautiful culture. If they are good people, they will accept you right way. If not, you don't need to waste your time to pursuade them either. Many people ask me about how chinese eat dogs. I love dogs and cats, I never eat dogs and cats. One opinion doesn't represent each individual of chinese.
