Life is not a fairy tale. I think independence is a key factor for you. Try to image if you are making almost the same amount of income as your hu*****and, will he treat you differently? I do agree with some of your observation about the white guys, however, in the same circumstance, if you had married a Chinese guy in your second marriage, would things be better? who knows?
