In certain social situations, Chinese try not to act like Chines

people from other ethnics may isolate them. They don't connect with Chinese in that environment. However their appreance already created a natual barrier for them to easily connect with certain donimant groups and people from that group are less motivated to connect with them either. So, they become some new group of people who need new idendity.
