You can always ask for a repair or credit for repairing

Maybe you will never get them, but it should not cause problems if you already have a signed agreement. The worst thing could happen is the seller replied stating the house is sold "as is".

Business is business, I don't see why the seller should get upset about this matter, but I guess a lot of people will.
