初到美国时，根本听不懂那些大咖们在流行歌曲里唱了什么

旋律好听的话，会拿歌词来补英语听力。刚好Eagles重出江湖不久，就拿他们的歌来囫囵吞枣了。这个94年版的加州旅馆，吉他前奏和结尾的Solo都是超棒，现在的流行乐坛显得反而不会用乐器了。

比较深的感触是隐喻，比如：Tifanny-twisted, Mercedes-Benz （Bends）等等。美国人大多性格开朗，但对话中会有不少玩笑般的隐喻，不撕开脸皮说破，就像汉语里用带故事的成语来表达。“不在餐桌上，就在菜单里”大抵上也是这个意思。

可笑的是，当时怎么也发不好Mercedes这个词，三个e各发各音。
