It is better to re-do

The seller's report just responsible to the seller. So if you find problem in the report (mistakes) , you can not ask the inspector /or inspector's insurance company to pay you for your loss.

If you order your your own inspection report and pay for it. IF later you find the inspector made mistakes, you can get your loss back.
