I think all depends on how many loads you have weekly.

we have 2 loads, still manageable, thus sometime, my hubby and me wonder just who should bring the load down/up, :-(((((

my neighbor has 1 load every day, fortunately she has her laundry at 2nd floor, she is more than happy with it.
