Mild Toxicity

 

(Blood levels: 1.5 to 2.5 mEq/L)

 

  • Nausea and vomiting

     

  • Diarrhea and stomach pain

     

  • Mild hand tremors

     

  • Dizziness and fatigue

     

  • Increased thirst and frequent urination

     

 

Moderate to Severe Toxicity

 

(Blood levels: >2.5 mEq/L)

  • Confusion and slurred speech

     

  • Uncontrolled muscle twitches and jerky movements

     

  • Lack of coordination (ataxia)

     

  • Changes in mental status

     

  • Seizures, coma, and even death in severe cases
