Yes, you can remotely erase a stolen iPhone using the Find My app or iCloud.com/find. Here's how: 
  1. Go to iCloud.com/find and sign in to Find Devices 
  2. Select the device from the All Devices list on the left 
  3. Click Erase This Device 
  4. Follow the instructions on the screen
