hardwood floor or laminated

Plan to get rid of the carpet and install hardwood floor or laminated floor. But can't make up my mind which one to use

For hardwood floor, it is around 8-9/sqt. Looks nice and resale value is high. But I heard it is easy to get scratches and need to pay a lot of attention for clean and maintain.

For laminated floor, it is around 4/sqt. Looks ok, not sure about whether it will add a lot of resale value. But it is very easy to take care of and will not easily get scratched.

What do u think? If you have wood floor at home, either hardwood or laminated, do u like or not? What about maintainese?
