Yes, in middle and high school.

They teach humanity and social study, not 美国文化, in middle and high school. I actually don't think schools offfer anything about 美国文化 at all. 美国文化 is just an extension of Westen civilization.

I was very impressed by the depth and coverage of those courses. Instead of brain-washing, the teachers tried their best to teach children how to think for themselves. This training makes them better and stronger citizens when they grow up.
