Yesterday, I read the follwing nice sentences:

From this beautiful translation, I can smell the frangrance of red apples in the fall.
On the countray, we can see many articles which are similar to these from Yao Wenyuan in Culture Revolution. When I read Yao Wenyuan's articles, I can always sense the terrible smell of bad eggs from them.
We are already in another Culture Revolution now. One interesting question is who has been making this to happen? Who is the source of so many bad eggs?
If you ask me, Xi Jinping is the only source of so many bad eggs since 2013. In the same vein, Mao was the source to generate people like Yao Wenyuan from 1949 to 1976.
Of course, you can put the responsibility to the history/culture of China. But that goes to far.
From 1977 to the time I left China in early 1990, I didn't see many bad eggs/articles. I thank Deng and his folks to put them in the jar. I feel that I was lucky to grow up in 1980s in a relative free and nice atomsphere.
