There is nothing wrong with ZhuoZhuo's logic.

On paper, 大公无私 is a good idea but a society is not sustainable if it relies on its members acting 大公无私.  屈原 was a great man but he died, so did his country. The only way to make a society long lasting is 利己利他.

What ZhuoZhuo failed to point out is, the true measurement of a thought is the impact of that thought, not the idea itself.  In another word, idea with no action is meaningless. This is particular ture for those self pro-claimed Chinese patriots who do nothing but accusing their fellow country men being traitors. Anywhere in the world, those people are considered hypocrites and liers.

I am sure we've all heard the saying: action is louder than any words. "大公无私和利己利他" are just some personal opinions that totally dependent on the point of views. Too often those chanting the most 大公无私 ideas, are trying to convince or trick others into acting 大公无私. 中南海里住满了"满嘴仁义道德,一肚子男盗女倡"的东西。

As to "最后说一下我的定义里的极度自私的人,其中一种是中国把她养大,提供了她免费高等教育,分给她房子,她却高喊着中国强大了会威胁她作为美籍华人利益的人,就是说中国衰弱了崩溃了才中她的意。" The unfortunate truth is China is the biggest threat to the rest of the world because of its size and potential. Chinese Americans are forever in a very uncomfortable position for that matter. I can only hope Chinese will learn the idea of coexist, not just  "an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth".
