God helps those who help themselves.

That is what the Westerners believe. I think GOD would work for anyone including Chinese based on that belief.

There have been many civilizations existed since the dawn of mankind, not all are created equally and not all will withstand the test of time. Chinese culture is one on shaky ground for that matter. The irony is there are lots Chinese who understand democracy, but most are forced out of China. Then people start to claim democracy is for suited for Chinese...
