Actually it is not 100% my own theory.

1. History TV (Mankind program?) suggested that once Phoenicians invented letters, human then obtained the ability of abstract thinking.
按照这个推理，只会使用中文者不在人类之列？
2. A Japanese book suggested that the Chinese languange (古文，科举/官方文书) is not a language comparing with other types of languages.

it is very difficult to find any research papers/evidences regarding how Chinese characters affect people's brain, because
1. the westerners 根本不屑去了解中国人的思想，根本不认为中国人有什么思想。所以没有老外去研究
2  中国人如果去研究，用中文去研究。能产生什么结果呢？自己拉自己的头发，能把自己悬空吗
3  懂汉字的老外，几乎没有。懂汉字，真正有学问的老外，还没出生

中国的所有问题，归根结底是汉字的问题。
我罗列一下我的粗略逻辑。

使用汉字 --〉对发音的简单处理 --〉 一音多字以及词组局限在2字 --〉 口头交流成问题 --〉口头交流局限于更少量汉字（发音容易被区别出的汉字）--〉思维停留在低级层次 （没有人与人的会话交流了，如何提高思维？）

西方的思维是通过声音传达的。数学，物理，那些概念也是的。只会汉语的人是无法理解的。
