Highly recommend TangShiming
* Visit Shanghai, though it is far from "Paris in the East" now. It has more skycrapers than before and they are brand new ! Beijing is ok, forget anywhere else.
* Take a stroll on Nanjin Road, gives you a feeling "Am I in Tokoy?". That would give you an impression:"Chinese are rich!". If you happen walk into a slum, that certainly does not represent China.
* Who said we don't have free speech? But... don't say anything of real significance.
* IMPROVEMENTS are the things Mainlanders want you to focus on. If you incurably put your eyes on things Mainlanders would rather to cover up, present it in a more artful way. You will never be wrong in comparing to the past.
* If you are happen caught in a protest, remember, don't take any pictures. Mainlanders don't want you to show this to the world. They want to show you China has Walmart, McDonald as well.
