1. Just like the US politicians (and Military), or even more so, the Chinese regime needs an enemy. The question is who?
2. Chinese regime sees American system and values as a threat.
3. Chinese regime thinks that the Russians share their values. IMHO, this is the most dangerous perception as Russians can stab you in the back in a split of a second.
4. Chinese regime does not think any other country worthy of their enemy. This is the 2nd most dangerous one as the Chinese arrogance can push them into a alliance.
The only viable arsenal against US is the nuclear weapons, so the Chinese regime is preparing the population for a US counterattack that (use your imagination here).
