the Britan (betrayed the country!), the south fought for state's rights and slavery. They do not rebel now because most of them genuienly love the country (unlike you, choose to live here, but curse the country all the time). Dispite its problems, US is better than at least most of the countries in the world. They are lot more independent than you give them credit for.
