2007 中投, 买进30亿黑石股份, 2009 现值10亿 帐面损失 20亿美元
2007 中投, 买进50亿大魔股份, 2009 现值15亿 帐面损失 35亿美元
2008 中信, 买进澳元累加器, 2008 被迫平仓, 净损失 170亿港元
2007 平安, 入股入Belgium Bank, 2008. The bank went BK.
2008 East China Airline, Air China lost a few hundreds millions in oil market for buy call option on the oil price peak misled by Goldman Sach.

美国
1. TPG Private Equity 2004 bought $150 millions Shenzhen Development Bank, Sold to Pingan for $1.5 Billion Today! A spectacular 10 folds gain in 5 years!
2. Bank of America bought Pre-IPO Shares of China Industrial and Commercial Bank, in 2004, sold in March 2009 for the gain of $3 Billions.
3. Buffet bought PTR at $30 dollar a share in 2003 and sold at $150 dollar a share in 2007 before PTR return to home market for the gain of $1.5 billions.
4. Today 73% of Baidu shares were owned by US bank or mutual or private equity funds. Baidu's share has appreciated from $60 to $300. None of the Chinese in China can invest in it at its IPO.
5. The majority of Chinese companies on NASDAK such as Senda, Sina, Sohu, LDK, Ctrip,Baidu,are owned by Foreign bank, mutual fund or private equity.

The list is too long. What major company doing business in China are owned by Chinese peoples? Not very much.
