我所说的方法太粗了，误导大家，就此道歉。
我常常自以为懂了，但经常连基本的定义都不清楚就争论的面红耳赤。欢迎大家指正、扫盲，也肯请高人给一个简单的比较关系。或告诉直接的对比结果，咨询费就免了吧。千万别像金融衍生产品弄的大家都不懂，每月基金管理公司寄给我几本厚厚的英文说明书，我从来是不看的（能看个大概齐，但太劳神，且无任何意义）。可现在谁挣钱，谁赔钱可摆在那儿。

The method currently used by the National Bureau of Statistics to measure quartely GDP growth rates compares growth in one quarter with the same period a year earlier. These calculations show that China's economy expanded by 6.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2008, confirming a significant slowdown. The annual growth rate for 2008 was 9 percent - the first time since 2003 that China's economy has expanded by less than 10 percent annually.
But many other countries, such as the United States and Japan, calculate GDP growth by comparing each quarter with the previous quarter, a method that requires more processing to adjust for seasonal differences, but with the advantage of quickly revealing changes in performance. Applying that method to Chinese data for the Fourth quarter reveals astonishing (!!!) results; growth fell to 1.5 per cent (! ???) at an annual rate (!!!), down from 4 percent the previous quarter.
