IF this is more important to you: "换了国籍，你在中国，可以享受到比中国人还优越的政策，端着外籍华人的名号，你可以不用办理什么暂住证和居住证", then please, just become a Canadian Citizen.

I think in current situation, it is good for China as a nation to protect itself. "果中国实施双重国籍，出入是方便了，但出现问题时，中国政府会以中国公民来对待加拿大华人，与中国境内的同胞一视同仁，加以处理。这显然不是大多数移民海外的大陆人所希望见到". We have seen this many times: someone went back to China and did bad things and claimed himself a Canadian citizen.....
