Science and technology rely on data but also real life

For example pollution is solved through data from earth. With all these pollutants and waste around the world the scientists of europe is able to collect data and knowledge and come with technologies to combat pollution if not for everyone on earth but at least for europe. Experimentation like the idea of equality experiments on things like ideologies and it creates unintended side effects however the knowledge acquired through experiments like data and global warming gives us knowledge on how to advance technology and come up with methodologies to protect ourselves. Of course there are always casualties like the idea of evolution.
