when it comes to war europe may back america. When it comes to trade, europe on the surface may back america but in reality europe is still willing to trade with china. Even though america put up tariff and barred all chinese ev cars into america but china has some cars going into europe. So there is potential for china to do business with europe. Trump tough stance against zelensky and meeting putin on the sideline may alienate some european nations including france and germany. All in all the west is not united under one banner when it comes to trade. Of course europeans are still closer to americans than east asians however people say money talks, with money china can get technology and know how from europe when america put up a blockade on technology to china. In an increasing globalized economy it is imperative that china do not fight a war on all front.
