Basically industrialization started with trade and factories. But corporations and large companies compete with small businesses. I don't agree with invisible hand. Small businesses either find a niche and compete or let large businesses take over. Survival of the fittest. Small businesses either find a niche fit or shut up and follow large businesses like corporation or state enterprises.
