Webster Dictionary 对 fact 和 opinion 做如下解释。opinion和是否可证实无关。您要是想给这个词从新定义,那也没问题。但是您这个新对定义和一般人对这个词的理解不同。既然和词典的定义不同,那发文是最好说明。不过按您的“观点”(opinion)定义,说观点没有对错,也有问题。不能被证实,与是否是事实,是两回事。比如说哥德巴赫猜想,要么是正确的,要么就是错误的。可是现在既不能证实,也不能证伪。可是说哥德巴赫猜想没有对错,显然是不对的。问题在于,对错,和能否证实其对错,是两回事。您给出的fact的定义,似乎冠以factual statement(有关事实的陈述)更好。fact(事实)就必须是真实的,这和能被证实或证伪不是一回事。既然想要有共同语言,那最好还是用词典里的定义为好,那是大家都接受的。
