杜甫

岐王(3)宅里寻常见，崔九(4)堂前几度闻。

正是江南好风景，落花时节又逢君。

1.  江南：此处指当时江南西道，即今湖南、重庆南部、湖北南部一带。

2.  李龟年：唐朝开元、天宝年间的著名乐师，因受到唐玄宗宠幸而红极一时。

3.  岐王：唐玄宗李隆基的弟弟，本名李隆范，后为避李隆基的名讳改为李范，封岐王。

4.  崔九：即崔涤，在兄弟中排行第九，宰相崔湜的弟弟，唐玄宗时曾任殿中监。

Many times I heard you sing in Cui the ninth’s hall.

The scenery of Jiangnan is now most beautiful;

It’s a pity that we should meet in a flower-falling season.
