    有人曾说过，听英语歌曲也可以帮助学英文。来美已经20多年了，可英文的水平还 是很差。记得刚刚来的时候，周末到商场买菜，就连问价钱的简单英文都不会。这使自己很着急也很生气。所以在打工的时候，白天去上班，晚上就去夜校补习英 文。可是在工作了一天之后，到了晚上学习的效果并不好。所以在听课的时候经常会打盹。这样一来， 听课的效果就不很差。没办法只好去利用周末的时间去复习和写作业。
 后 来去社区大学去学习，记得当时有一个年龄很大的老师给我们上课时，曾经教唱过一首英文歌曲。名字叫“My way"...当时自己并没有认真的学唱那首歌曲，心里想的时如何抓紧时间复习考试的内容。所以对于那首歌只记住了几句歌词。光阴似箭，在几年的时间里， 一边打工一边学习，周末去图书馆复习。查单词，背复习题，忙得简直就象脚打后脑勺。还好经过了几年的努力后，终于毕业了 。可是在学
习期间，花了很多的时间学专业知识，所以英文的水平还是很差。在工作的时候，我的老板对我的影响很大，她不但知道餐饮方面的知识，而且对花卉的名字也很清楚。还有她知道不少英文歌曲。所以自己就会在闲暇之时，也会听点英文歌曲。
有 一次去一个小商店买东西时，发现了一个儿童歌曲的CD,自己就买了回来。听了几遍后，觉得很好。（很遗憾的是，即没有记住歌词，也不会唱那些歌。）因为英 文歌曲并不那么容易学。后来在一个人总结学习英文的体会里，她说到大量的读书会帮助提高学英文，还有看电视听广播也是学英文的一个良好途径。此外听英文歌 曲也会有帮助。。。

If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!
