Following the success of 2009's Classics, French new age composer Eric Levi raids his classical music collection for a second time on ten tracks that fuse his trademark blend of Gregorian chanting and electronic production with famous orchestral pieces including Pachelbel's Canon ("Ave Paternum Deo"), Mozart's Requiem ("Madeus"), and Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata ("I'm No Angel"), alongside two original compositions, "Voxifera" and "Prelude."
It is not usually a promising thing for an artist to release a new album every year. Eric Levi has not given up on the idea of ??using classical melodies. However, it must be acknowledged that this album is a small step forward. The breath of rhythms, melodies and moods of Era can be felt in this album. On this album classical melodies such as "Mozart's Requiem" , "Tchaikovsky's Concerto for Violin No. 1" , "Beethoven's Moonlight Sonata" and "Bach's Cello Suite No. 1 in G major" were taken and their lyrics, tempo and key were changed, giving rise to the songs "Madeus", "Thunder Flash", "I'm not Angel" and "A Brand New Day" respectively. Also included is the song Voxifera from the previous album The Mass but this time with drums added and the order of the lyrics changed, thus being called "Voxifera (Rock Edit)". "Outro Madeus" is only 44 seconds long as it's the chorus of "Madeus" that they reintroduced, which is the reason for the name.
