Chinese pop singer Ha Hui's (哈辉) beautiful self-produced disc, Hymn: If I speak in the tongues of angels (我若能说天使的话语) has the distinction of being one of the very few Chinese-language recordings of contemporary Christian songs. While Contemporary Christian Music (CCM) has a sizable market in South Korea, for various reasons, virtually no recordings have been released in China - despite a considerable Christian minority. For her recording she has selected a number of songs from one of the Chinese House Church hymnals as well as contributing several of her own originals. Altogether, this is a beautiful, inspiring disc of contemporary religious pop from a surprising source!
哈辉，古典音乐演唱家，生于陕西汉中。中国国学推广大使，目前研创新雅乐。中央民族大学副教授。早期作品以民歌为主，2008年哈辉个人艺术演唱风格正式由“民歌”转型为“跨界古典”演唱风格。
