约翰•威廉姆斯（JohnWilliams，1932－）一位电影音乐创作者，乐团指挥。 在他50多年的创作生涯中，为电影创作的音乐不计其数，代表作有《辛德勒名单》、《星球大战》、《侏罗纪公园》、《外星人》等等。

约翰•威廉姆斯以音乐风格的多样，作品的产量以及品质的精良著称，而他与大导演史蒂芬•斯皮尔伯格的合作更是珠联璧合， 使他成为现代电影配乐史上最无法让人忽视的人。约翰•威廉姆斯曾先后荣获5次奥斯卡金像奖及31次提名。他从1979年末开始，还接任了美国波士顿流行乐 团的指挥职务，演出的曲目涵概了电影音乐、音乐剧、流行乐和爵士乐。
