that was 2007,,,,,

yoyo is the recipient of:

National Medal of Arts in 2001 and

the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2011.

 

at that time the Silk Road Ensemble was under the cooking, in new york, 

i was invited for an event working there, met yoyo and other talented artists, conversated and took pictures together.......

a very nice person, a friend of may years, a brother thoughtful and cares,

not a star shining in front of you.
