专辑简介：

希腊神话有这样一个故事：

       有一个掌管着森林和大地的牧神潘，形象特别怪异，头上有两个犄角，一脸络腮胡，还长着山羊蹄，他的外表简直就是个半人半兽。

       有一天，在放牧的过程中，潘遇到了一个美若天仙的少女西瑞克斯，于是他向西瑞克斯表达了自己爱慕之情，西瑞斯被这个丑陋的家伙吓坏了，她拼命地跑呀跑呀……

       她跑到了河边，请求河神救她，河神就将她变成了河边的一丛芦苇。等到潘追到了河边，却看不到不到自己的爱人，他大声的喊叫，也没有人应答，他只看见芦苇随风摇曳，只听见芦苇的低吟……

       伤心之余，他将那芦苇割下削成了七段，把一段段的管子并排绑在一起，每天在河边吹奏，怀念自己的心上人……

       为了纪念自己的心上人，他就把自己发明的乐器称为“西瑞克斯”。

       这就是西方的潘笛（pan flute），也就是我们所说的排箫。

世界上最伟大的排箫演奏家Gheorghe Zamfir 2005年出品的最新合辑，分三张CD，古典，浪漫，民谣将Gheorghe Zamfir的精华之作一网打尽。

Gheorghe Zamfir是国际上知名的排箫演奏家，他出生于罗马尼亚的一个穷苦人家，小时候得到过一架手风琴，后来去大学里开始专业学习手风琴，但是因故学校手风琴专业停办了，他才改学了排箫，阴错阳差世界上少了个手风琴演奏家，多了个著名的艺术家。Zamfir对排箫进行了改革，使之更能适合于现代音乐 的表现，我们所熟知的《天堂鸟》就是六十年代，Zamfir与轻音乐大师James.Last展开合作的结晶。
