升F小调，OP．48．2，小行板，3段体，中段为狂想曲。序奏和最初的主题有挽歌的情绪，尼克斯说：“有令人不禁落泪的甜美。”开头主题反复两次后转为甚慢板。肖邦学生回忆，肖邦要求他弹中段时右手要用宣叙调表现，而且“最初两个和弦要如暴君的命令一般，其余部分以怜悯的感情演奏。”
