伝統の中にある美しさ、あるいは香しさなどをみつめ、日本の美しい風景に重ね合わせるようにソロピアノで表現。
ジャケットに描かれている吉田伊佐画伯の油絵が、いにしえの都へと誘ってくれる。
The beauty that is within these traditions is expressed through the delicate piano music. Poetic melodies and nostalgic harmonies are created by this soft piano music, which takes the listener to a relaxing environment. Masaji Watanabe creates poetic melodies and nostalgic harmonies that will take you to a place of everlasting peace.

I wish to express with great care the beauty and the "fragrance" of the tradition that has been handed down in Japan through the ages. It is about "miyabi", a courtly elegance that is not showy, cultivated through the ages since antiquity. Isn't it something to be considered as being of value, something to be treasured?
