　　本专辑《The Dreamer-Romances for Alto Flute Volume 2》(追梦人-长笛罗曼史)是 Michael Hoppe (麦可.霍普)与 Tim Wheater (提姆.怀特)合作的另一张专辑，也是“Romances for Alto Flute”的续辑。

　　德国低音长笛缓缓如月如水，柔柔地划过停止的思维，把那种思乡情怀以及楚楚动人的音色发挥的淋漓尽致。流淌的音乐带着一份落寞和几分神秘感，笛音悠长，绵绵不绝于耳，低沉而悠扬的，把思绪带到那遥远的记忆的天空。

　　低音长笛并不常见，与长笛相比，其低沉、舒缓、忧郁的音色更适于独奏。继1996年的《The Yearing: Romances For Alto Flute》大获成功以后，Michael Hoppe 和 Tim Wheater 这对黄金搭档再接再厉，于1997年又推出了前作的续篇《The Dreamer: Romances For Alto Flute Vol.2 追梦人:长笛罗曼史》。这次依然由 Tim Wheater 负责他拿手的长笛部分，而 Michael Hoppe 则负责键盘和所有的曲目的创作。相对而言，第二缉的音乐比上一缉更具有层次感，旋律优美而不压抑。
