composed during the time of Prince Charles and the Jacobite rebellion around 1750. Tragic how common folks fall simply bacause of a few's greed for power and glory.

This is one of the most beautiful rendition that I have heard.



It is unfortunate that this malencholy song is more and more glazed with a gaudy varnish of patrioticism.
