Bream & Ｗilliams 两大师的经典吉他双重奏

朱里安·布里姆（Julian Bream 1933- ）约翰·维廉斯（John Williams 1941- ）是当代两位吉他大师。他们合出的双重奏是最经典的演奏。

吉他的现代史很短，主要归功于 Andrés Segovia (1893-1987, Spain) 大师的复兴努力和他对乐器的改进。问题是吉他乐的演奏目录很少，布里姆和维廉斯除了在演奏和普及的同时，下了很大的功夫开发演奏目录，包括改编钢琴，小提琴曲子和鼓励作曲家为吉他作曲。比如现在已成经典的 Villa-Lobos 《 Estudios 》和 William Walton 《 Five Bagatelles 》就是为他们作的。

布里姆 不幸在 84 车祸，影响了他的演奏水平。维廉斯的影响很大，他为经典越战片《Deer Hunter 》的录音广泛流传（片断５由此改编）。同时他对教学推广不遗余力。
