【風中奇緣】（Pocahontas）是迪士尼第３３部經典動畫，於１９９５年推出，是迪士尼第一部由真實歷史改編的長篇劇情動畫片。

【風中奇緣】的女主角是一位印地安公主－ Pocahontas，她的傳奇一生在美國是家喻戶曉的故事，迪士尼將這位印第安公主的故事搬上大銀幕，敘述她救了英國的探險家 John Smith ，並且化解了一場異族間的戰爭。本片強調與自然界的融合以及族群間的尊重，結局也一改迪士尼過去快樂團圓的傳統， Pocahontas 選擇了留在家鄉帶領族人， John Smith 則受傷返回英國，留下了一個令人難以釋懷的缺憾。

本片由Mike Gabriel 和 Eric Goldberg 共同執導，音樂方面是由 Alan Menken 負責配樂、作曲， Stephen Schwartz 負責作詞，片尾流行主題曲“Colors of the Wind”則是由 Vanessa Williams 演唱；另外一首“If I Never Knew You”由 Jon Secada 和 Shanice 演唱。〈风中奇缘>的配乐和主题歌Colors Of The Wind,
包揽了奥斯卡最佳配乐,和最佳原作歌曲两个奖项。

英文原版演唱者Vanessa Williams,曾夺得美国小姐桂冠，与施瓦辛格拍摄了电影《蒸发密令》
