For an Asian boy, this is not strong enough for MIT

I have seen one Chinese boy with a very close profile. He did make any good private school. He ended up studying CS at the University Of Michigan. Strategy is important for non-top kids.

Nonetheless, the child will be fine in his career. And he could get into an excellent school like CMU, Cornell. So, relax and best of luck!
