I went to one of his speeches and had a chance to have a long chat with him. That led me to his articles and books. He seems to be a serious scholar in the field who can call a spade a spade.

Forgive my ignorance--I don't know anything about the book you mention. Will find a copy and read it. I believe Cumings is not an ideologue and it will be interesting to find out why he is critical of Halladay.
