it won't help stop the rebels as there is no one has enough influence to tell them all (16+ rebel groups) stop attacking Sudan government. Many of these "experts" are crap looking at this as a one way street instead of a two way street. There were already peace initiatives between the Sudan government and some of the rebel groups. The other ones refuse to stop. No experts and media said much about that.
