Isrealis chose that place as their land not because it was

the smart thing to do but it was their heritage in their religion. They know it would be tough but with their foundation and support in the US, they know they have a good chance of making it. All in all, they are also a faithful group. Their survival throughout the ages were legendary therefore shouldn't be look down upon as weak. Even if Isreal disappears, there would always be more jews in the US and other countries in the world. Isreal is not really a weak party but they suffer like every other "allies" of US. Their main weakness is their low population and their faith, which ironically, is their strongest trait as well.
