The only Mayan ruin by the sea - south of Cancun

about 2 hours drive (129km) from Cancun.

One can rent a car or take regular tour buses. It is an easy drive via 180 Federal Highway - straight down South. Along the road one would pass numerous resorts and small towns dotted the so-called Mayan Riviera along the Yucatan Peninsula.
