Thanksgiving should be warm enough to swim

I went in mid December and water was warm enough to swim and snorkle. Some of my friends tried going swimming the day after I went and found the water too cold to swim.

Los Cabos does not have very good sandy beaches. The beaches are too rough to walk on barefoot. Behind the Hilton Resort, north of Cabo, there is a stretch of nice sandy beach. I found the local bus convenient enough to get me around. Many Americans drove instead.

I personally like Cancun much better. Found Los Cabo highly commercialized and way over priced. Things in Cabo are even pricer than US resorts.
