I accept the fact that the Chinese did not defeat Japanese. But did the Japanese actually defeat Chinese? It took Japan 8 years to conquer no more than 1/2 of the land and yet the Chinese were still resisting. If Mao instead of Chiang were in command of all the Nationalist trooops, what would or could be the result?
