50 years later, you can sit down in the couch and say that U.S army had no intention to invade China, but 50 years ago even the smartest politicions from both side can not figure out what will happen next, weither the Chinese army will across the ya lu river or weither the oppiste the U.S army will across the yellow river. In addition, the Chinese had painful experience about the foreign power occupy the Korea. In 1894, Chinese lost the Sino-Jap war in Korea,from there the Jap step by step into china, so who can gurrantte that the U.S will not do the same thing? I mean 50 years ago.
