I guess some people prefering Chiang's way

in facing Japanese army. If Chiang was able/willing to fight earlier even with a loss of half million soldiers, 100 millions of Chinese would be able to live. In any culture, protect motherland is a just war. When you are in a just war, cost is never a consideration!!!
