“Whatever will be, will be” 英文歌名，是意大利谚语「Que será, será」的著名译法，（也有说是源自一句古老谚语）。暗示，未来不受掌控，担忧木有用，一切会以其既定轨迹发生。
第一次听到这歌，是八十年代初在北京一朋友家的唱片中听了一回，就觉得真好听！没想到这么多年过去，旋律居然一直还记得。到了美国，偶然从电视中看到一电影，才知这是电影插曲，而且还是女主角 Doris Day 演唱的。
电影名“The Man Who Knew Too Much“，拍摄于1956年，导演是悬疑大师 Alfred Hitchcock，男女主角分别是James Stewart 和Doris Day。绝对堪称影史上的经典电影。（1934年，英国拍的是黑白片，也是Alfred Hitchcock导演）
